What To Expect on your First Dance Lesson

Are you ready to take your dancing to the next level?

Tired of being a wallflower at weddings and events? Or do you just want to have fun and workout? Or are you looking to make that special someone happy? Whatever the reason, come into one of our Arthur Murray studios to take your first free private lesson today and add some pizazz to your life!

Our dance programs are tailor made to fit each student whether you’re a novice dancer or a pro or anywhere in-between. If you’re brand new to dancing, we can help you discover which dances you like best. And if you’ve had some more experience, we can take your dancing to the next level.

Think of our teachers as your dancing personal trainers to help you reach your full dancing potential. Each dance that we teach is broken down into easy steps that anyone can learn. Our teachers interconnect the dances, so concepts you learn in one dance can be applied to another to make learning multiple dances even easier.

When you walk into the studio for the first time by yourself or with a partner, your teacher will give you a sample of the different dances and assess your level so we can craft a program to suit your needs and goals. For beginners, we’ll give the elements you need to start forming patterns to get you dancing. Most beginners find they can even start putting together the basic steps together by the end of the first lesson!

For couples preparing for their first dance at weddings, you and your partner can bring in your song, or we can suggest a few. We can plan a program to ensure that your first dance is memorable and romantic and the least stressful part of the big day.

40 million people have already started their dancing off on the right foot by learning with Arthur Murray studios. The first step to confidence on the dance floor is scheduling your first lesson today.
