The DWTS 24 Celebrity Dream Team Poll Results

We've added the likes of John Stamos, Alyssa Milano, and Mark Paul Gosselaar to our DWTS 24 Dream Team, but the results of our second poll were nothing short of staggering.

Let's get you caught up with the sequence of events.  It started when we shared our Top 5 Choices for Dancing with the Stars 24, which sparked a bunch of celebrity suggestions on our Facebook Page, which then led to our first Dancing with the Stars 24 Casting Call Poll.

There were some no-brainers (see: Stamos, John), and there were some big surprises (see: Hammer, M.C.).  Which brings us to our second poll.   15 New celebrities, 2.2k votes and counting, and we have our next 3 choices for our Dream Team.

The "Casting Choices" So Far

The following are the Top 3 Choices from our Arthur Murray Live community and have secured spots in our DWTS 24 Casting Call Dream Team.    Keep in mind that this is all fun, pure speculation, and not official.  However, if there are members of the production department for ABC reading this - keep in mind that these choices come from a passionate and dance savvy online community.

John Stamos

Stamos, also known as Uncle Jessie, crushed the competition taking, at the time of this screenshot, over one quarter of the votes.

Mark Paul Gosselaar - It looks like our community wants to give this Saved By the Bell star a chance to top his TV rival A.C. Slater (aka Mario Lopez).

Alyssa Milano - The only woman to make the top 3, but for good reason.  Milano has the DNA to be a perfect DWTS Celebrity competitor.  She's a versatile actress, has an incredible fan base, and could pull off anything the ABC costume department made for her.

The Next 3:

John Stamos, watch out - there's a new top vote getter... and it wasn't even close.  Here are the results of our second celebrity dream team poll.

The Bottom 8

Brett Michaels - while he may have the requisite fanbase, the Arthur Murray Live community had to pass on the rock star.
Michael Phelps - maybe the DWTS crowd is tired of Olympic Swimmers?
Rachael Ray - she seems like an ideal candidate for the show, but perhaps our FB community figured she's got a lot on her... (*clearing throat*)... plate.
Jeff Foxworthy - just doesn't seem like redneck jokes and ballroom dancing are a match this time around.
Jada Pinkett-Smith - While she seems like she'd be a sure-fire sassy latin dancer, she doesn't seem to have the DWTS pull we thought she'd have.
Richard Rawlings - For this car guru turned reality TV star, maybe one hit show is the limit for this guy.
Don Johnson - This is a bit of a surprise, but maybe our community draws the line at John Stamos for ex-80's television stars who can still pull in the babes.
Simon Pegg - Mark it down for the record that we think he'd make a fantastic fill in judge at any point on the show.  Pegg is a hilarious and talented actor, but just doesn't seem to have many fans in our poll.  Bummer.

Nearly Made the Cut:  4, 5, 6

6.  Simon Cowell - He had a decent number of votes, and every American Idol fan would love to see this villain-like judge on the other side of the reality talent show looking glass.  Do we think this could happen?  Probably not.  Would we be glued to the TV if it did?  You bet your Richard Hung we would.

5.  Sofia Vergara - This Latin Television turned Hollywood darling is a true success story.  She's no stranger to dancing in public, and has a, well, "body of work" that could pull off anything in the ABC wardrobe department.  She finishes number 5 in our poll, but would be a favorite to win if she were ever to join the show.

4. Simone Biles - Should this happen, there may be a permanent ban on US Gymnasts from DWTS participation. Following Laurie Hernandez's win in Season 23, Biles would, most certainly, be an early favorite to win, and would have the daunting task of living up to the current Olympian turned Dancer expectations.

The Top 3:  Offically Added to Our DWTS 24 Dream Team

3.  Tiffani-Amber Theissen

With Mark-Paul Gosselaar on our Dream Team roster, and Mario Lopez as a Dancing with the Stars alum - it makes perfect sense to add their mutual Saved by the Bell love interest Tiffani-Amber Theissen.  She's got all the makings of a former television turned Dancing with the Stars-star, and she officially makes our Dream Team.

2.  Reba McEntire

The country diva known by many simply as "Reba" is the top woman in our second poll.  Should ABC add her to the show, she'd surely be a fan favorite, a great post-dance interview, and could inspire many of her fans in a completely new way.

1.  Luke Bryan

The country crooner is not only our top celebrity in both polls so far, he's confirmed to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas.  We're pretty sure that would have a positive impact on ratings should ABC pull off the epic move to sign this trending country megastar to season 24.
