Arthur Murray Walnut Creek Shows Why the Holiday Ball Was Pure Magic

Even if you happened to miss the Holiday Ball in December 2016, don't worry, one of our content resolutions for 2017 has been to provide more digital access to everything we do.  Including this gem just sent to us by the team at Arthur Murray Walnut Creek.

Northern California AM Holiday Ball from AMWC on Vimeo.

Getting to Know the Hosts

The video features some hosts you may know, and a host who was making her Arthur Murray Live debut.  Let's get to know who they are.

Misty Henthorn

One of our roving reporters at the Holiday Ball was Misty.  An award winning instructor, Misty is a critical part to the Walnut Creek teaching team, and a quick witted journalist as well.

Nick Zapata

Apparently, Nick Zapata has plenty of support for his run at a Best Actor award.  Nick made a seamless transition from the Livermore to the Walnut Creek location and, judging by the response in the video, has some adoring fans.

Emma Newton

Joining the media coverage at the Holiday Ball for the first time was our youngest Arthur Murray Live correspondent - Emma Newton.  Emma has been a vibrant part of the Walnut Creek student body, and looks to have plenty of promising career options when she's older.

Arin Crumley

The man behind the camera was Arin Crumley. A teacher who has an extensive video and editing background, he's the visionary behind this and many more videos featuring the Arthur Murray Walnut Creek team.

What's Next?

The Heavy Medal Ball is right around the corner.  This rock-themed dinner and dance event celebrates the graduations for students from level to level across the Bay Area.  This popular event had record participation in 2016, and with a "Welcome to the Jungle" theme, expect tickets for the February 24th event to go quickly.

Check with your studio manager to purchase tickets, and if your name is Emma Newton - check with your mother so we can give you your press credentials.

We'd like to include you in our weekly email with all of our best articles.  Whether you want to read up on Dance Tips, Dancing with the Stars, or Interviews with some of the movers and shakers in the industry - it's one email, once a week, that can, hopefully, have a positive impact on your day - and your dance program.
