Miguel Dominguez Joins the Arthur Murray Executive Team

He's been teaching at Arthur Murray Hayward since 2007.  As a fantastic teacher and dancer, Miguel Dominguez has created quite a name for himself in his career with the company.

As one of the original members of the Arthur Murray Live leadership team, Miguel has seen plenty of his colleagues advance into different roles in the company, but his passion, first and foremost, has always been teaching.

"I remember Miguel starting out in training class.  He was always so natural in his dancing and teaching right off the bat" says his former co-worker, and franchisee of Arthur Murray Fremont, Marianne Myers.  "He has always been so caring with his students and fun to work next to as a teacher."

But after careful consideration, Miguel decided in 2019 to take his love of teaching to a broader area.  He expressed his desire to join the management team to begin teaching the teachers, helping even more students, and once an opportunity came up, he accepted it.

Miguel Dominguez is now the Supervisor of Arthur Murray Hayward.

The former Supervisor, Wendy Lopez, will shift over to the New Student Director position and this pair, who have worked together for more than ten years, form quite a dynamic duo.

"I get to learn alongside with him.  I'm in a new position myself and we're motivated to bring our team up with us to make Hayward school even stronger" says Lopez.

"Miguel is excited, great with the staff and ready to take 2020 with an open mind and moving to the top."

Miguel is a teacher at heart and, like any great teacher, he's constantly adapting to his audience - just look at some of his solo routines to get an idea.  As a Supervisor, he'll put that adaptability into full use as he helps to develop and deliver the dance goals of the students, and the dance programs to help them get there.

"I have no doubt that he'll be amazing, if not more, in his new position as Supervisor" says Marianne Myers.  "The studio is lucky to have him leading the way."
