It’s a common misconception that you need skills, wardrobe, or a partner to be able to dance. Absolutely not! In fact, Arthur Murray got the idea to teach dancing in 1912 because he wasn’t a very good dancer to begin with.
Dancing is a learning process meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Whether you’re dancing to learn new skills, to compete, to look magical on your wedding, or just want to have some fun, we’re here to guide you.

Resembling a fast-paced version of the waltz, the foxtrot moves with flowing motions across the dance floor. It's typically danced to big band style music.
Changes in the foxtrot have occurred over the years, but the essence of the classic dance movies and jazz standards remains the same.
In the American style, the foxtrot has a slow-quick-quick rhythm and graceful moves, though international versions of the dance exist as well, and look more Waltz-like.
The dance has been a staple in American dance music for nearly a century. Whether you've seen the dance in older movies like "Cheek to Cheek" and "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," or in recent movies, such as "The Wedding Planner," it is a dance that is simply fun to perform.

I went to the introductory free lesson and loved it. The staff is very encouraging. I take a private lesson at least 2 times a week. It is a skill I had always wanted to learn but never had the time. Everyone there is very encouraging and make learning fun. The instructors know how to teach you to get moving in a fun way! Give them a try!

Why just "dance with the stars" when you can become a star? This is a great dance studio to learn ballroom dancing. For beginners to advance, you can always learn more. The classes are fun and fresh. It's a great way to share the love of dance with others. The instructors are great. We all learn at our own speed, but they push us to be better. You never knew how two left feet could move so well. The first lesson is free. You can't beat that.

My fiance and I went to Arthur Murray to get some much needed help with choreography for the first dance at our wedding. After having a very weird experience with a dinosaur of a dance instructor from another local dance studio, I went to prescreen Arthur Murray before subjecting my better half to more lessons. Everything about this studio deserves praise. The newly remodeled studio is spacious and beautiful, all of the staff are warm and welcoming, and our instructor Chris was AMAZING! He made every lesson fun and laugh-filled. He was very energetic, engaging and patient. Post wedding, my husband and I both agree that the experience of being taught our first dance was actually more fun than actually executing it at our wedding. Thanks so much Chris!
