Rumba is the Romantic Dance You Are Looking For

Imagine that you're cooking in the kitchen.

You're following the recipe of your favorite meal delivery service, feeling a little fancy using truffle oil, and using other ingredients your single self could never fathom including.

And then it happens...

Your significant other tip-toes in, turns you around, and takes you into a dance frame. It's close, compact, and the rhythm of the movement is clear enough that it requires no music.

Welcome to the Rumba:  The most romantic dance we teach. Here are some specific reasons why you need this, with or without the truffle oil.

1.  It's Slow

Yeah, that sounds sort of obvious, but one of the greatest byproducts of a slow dance isn't just the lovey-dovey mood it puts you in, but it gives you enough time to have a conversation, flirt, and think about your next move.

2.  It's Versatile

The compact size of this dance makies it portable, no grand ballroom necessary.  Whether you're dancing at a nightclub, corporate function, or - as mentioned earlier - in your kitchen, the Rumba designed to travel with you whenever you feel like changing the mood.

3. Style Foundation

Whether you are interested in social dancing, competitive, or just want to do something sexy for your wedding reception - Rumba is the dance we utilize to teach latin styling.  All the technique and style additions in the dance are designed to spill over and apply to others like Salsa, Cha-Cha, and Mambo.

4. The Music

Whether you're dancing to the sultry voice of Eydie Gorme singing "Historia de un Amor" or something a little more light hearted, yet deeply emotive, like Jack Black and Jimmy Fallon's tribute version of Extreme's More Than Words.

No matter what style you choose, anything in that tempo range will fit the rumba.

5.  The Replacement

Think of what you were like in high school. Now, for a second, think of all the ways you are a little more mature, level headed, and so much cooler.

So why would you still slow dance the way you did in high school?

While the rest of the world is still swaying side to side like they're lulling someone to sleep, a Rumba will activate your feet, hips, and torso so you and your romantic dance partner can syncronize your movements, and show everyone what it's like to graduate from the high school slow dance.

Final Thought

The most romantic dance of all?  It's dancing.  Whether that's Rumba, Waltz, Salsa, or Country Western - taking your significant other in your arms and confidently asking "may I have this dance?" puts you on a level all its own in the romance department.

Fancy dinners with truffle oil are just an added bonus.
