This District Showcase Will Make History

There is a chance that a date with some serious historic significance is on your dance calendar in the not-too-distant future. If it isn’t, mark it down:

This District Showcase Will Make History

March 30th, 2014 - District Showcase.

Underneath that, feel free to add things like:

  • “11 Schools Participating”
  • “Professional Show by Australian Ballroom Champions"
  • “Largest One Day Showcase in Arthur Murray”

With nearly 6,000 freestyle entries and close to 300 dinner tickets, there will be plenty of excitement, rhinestones, and general body heat radiating from the Crowne Plaza in Foster City, CA.

“Fortunately, the growth of the showcase has been steady and consistent so the staff really do a great job of delivering great service” says Daisey Lynam, showcase organizer.

While the entry deadline for freestyle participation has passed, there is still time, however, to purchase a few remaining dinner tickets where you can be a part of the evening celebration and professional showcase. There you’ll be treated to a show that involves more frequent flier miles than any other - Mark & Melanie Perkovich, Australian and Arthur Murray Ballroom Champions come to visit and dazzle us all the way from Bondi Beach, Australia.

All in all, the showcase is a day that helps students develop confidence on the dance floor faster than any in-studio activity. Each and every one of the, nearly, 6000 entries acts as a catalyst for feedback, progress, and confidence. Arthur Murray’s goal has always been to “change the world through dancing, one step at a time” and this district showcase is doing that in a big, historic way.

Mark your calendars and contact your studio to purchase your tickets!
