Karen Prado has worked for over a decade at Arthur Murray. Starting as a dance teacher in Hayward, while juggling two additional jobs, almost stopped that journey in year one. 

It was by the end of that year that she made the decision to pare things down, focus on teaching, and her career took off. Within three years, Karen became one of the managers of the Arthur Murray Hayward location.

In 2011, when Arthur Murray Walnut Creek needed a second manager, Karen rose to the challenge.  She has helped to develop both students and teachers within the Arthur Murray organization.  

She has helped both the Hayward and Walnut Creek locations rise to the top 5 rankings in the Arthur Murray world.

How would you describe Arthur Murray Walnut Creek?

“Our school is an ever-expanding dance family.”

What is one off-the-wall weird fact about you?

“I collect string instruments, but I cannot play them.”
